When someone is facing cancer, even the smallest act of kindness can feel like a lifeline—a warm meal on an exhausting day, gas money for the drive to treatment, or help easing the weight of bills and everyday worries.
Most of all, support can offer a powerful reminder: You don’t have to walk this journey alone.
This October, you can help bring that comfort and encouragement to cancer patients in Lancaster County simply by purchasing a car wash ticket.
Through our partnership with Riptide Rush Car Wash, 50% of ticket proceeds benefit The Healing Journey Foundation, helping us care for the whole person beyond cancer treatment.

Annual Patient & Family Picnic in the Park
On September 12th 2026, at East Lampeter Park, our annual Healing Journey Patient & Family Picnic brought together nearly 200 cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, family members, friends, healthcare professionals, and community supporters for an afternoon filled with food, laughter, fun, and connection.
More than just a picnic, the day was a beautiful reminder of what Healing Journey is all about—making sure no one has to walk the cancer journey alone. From delicious food and sweet treats to activities for the kids and time spent simply enjoying one another’s company, the afternoon was filled with moments of joy and hope.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who volunteered, donated, participated, and helped make this special day possible.
